
Wouldn’t it be nice to be in St. Thomas right now? Especially for those of us who live in the snow belts.
I may get a lot of flak on this but it is so true! The longer I worked in bureaucracy, the more I saw of this. Have you ever wondered how certain people seem to rise to the top and you say, “Gee, they’re not all that smart. How’d they get appointed/elected/promote to that position”?
This comes from 2 math teachers with a combined total of 70 yrs. experience.
Here is a little something someone sent me that is indisputable mathematical logic. It also made me Laugh Out Loud.
This is a strictly mathematical viewpoint…it goes like this:
What Makes 100%? What does it mean to give MORE than 100%? Ever wonder about those people who say they are giving more than 100%? We have all been to those meetings where someone wants you to give over 100%. How about achieving 103%? What makes up 100% in life?
Here’s a little mathematical formula that might help you answer these questions:

SO TRUE!!!!! That’s one of the reasons I was fired–because I refused to use Bullshit and Ass-kissing as a way to move forward. I’m too ‘real’ for that! Maybe Honesty isn’t the best policy in the Corporate world, but I can’t be any different–it’s who I am!

Your comments to the caregivers are right on. I am thankful I realized that before it was too late. Sherman and I expressed our love for each other constantly, and he had a sweet way of expressing it without words, by a gesture, a hug, his hand softly put on top of my head, and many other ways. Of course, I could tell him how much I loved him all the time. Pam seems to be a great companion for you too.
